| Job Description | This estimate outlines the scope of work required to address multiple failures in the drain system servicing the hall bathroom. Upon return Centex will perform approximately 25 feet of tunneling beneath the foundation to gain access to the damaged section of the 3 main drain line serving the hall bathroom. During initial evaluation multiple leaks were identified including two leaks on the main line and two additional leaks at the lavatory and tub drain connections indicating widespread failure of the existing drainage system. Due to the condition of the piping the recommended course of action is to fully re-pipe the hall bathroom drain system rather than attempt isolated repairs. This will ensure long-term reliability and bring the system up to current standards. All necessary piping within the hall bathroom area will be fully exposed and replaced including connections to the lavatory and tub drains as well as the affected section of the main line. Once all repairs and re-piping are completed we will: Perform a full system test to verify proper function and confirm there are no remaining leaks Coordinate and schedule required city inspection to ensure compliance with local plumbing codes |
