| Job description | Our scope of work includes performing a direct-access drain repair beneath the master bathroom shower. To gain access to the damaged drain piping we will carefully demolish the existing shower tile and shower pan. Once the shower pan has been removed we will saw-cut and remove approximately a 2 x 2 section of the concrete slab directly over the shower drain to expose the broken P-trap. After the damaged piping has been exposed we will remove the existing broken P-trap and install a new PVC P-trap using approved primer and solvent cement. Once the repair is complete we will restore water flow to the shower and perform an operational leak test by running water through the drain to verify the new fitting is watertight and functioning properly. This estimate includes only the plumbing work necessary to expose remove and replace the defective P-trap and verify the repair is leak-free. This estimate does not include replacing or patching the concrete slab after the repair is completed. Additionally this estimate does not include the installation of a new shower pan waterproofing tile installation grout or any other finish carpentry or restoration work. The homeowner will be responsible for all shower pan replacement and tile restoration by others following completion of the plumbing repair. Should any unforeseen conditions or additional concealed damage be discovered after the concrete is opened any additional repairs required will be discussed with the homeowner and approved prior to proceeding. **Need to add a Natural Gas tankless water heater replacement |
